Accounting Intern

Key Responsibilities

• Assist with bank account reconciliations
• Process accounts payable invoices and assist with check processing
• Support the review of accounts payable statements
• Absorb balance sheet reconciliations alongside the Accounting Manager and Controller
• Support Staff Accountants with equipment usage entry into the company ERP system
• Absorb recurring monthly general ledger entries and payments
• Help prepare month-end journal entries
• Provide audit support as needed
• Absorb special projects and other accounting-related duties as assigned

Qualifications

• Currently pursuing or recently completed a Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
• Basic understanding of GAAP accounting principles
• Strong Microsoft Excel skills, including pivot tables and lookup formulas preferred
• ERP system experience is a plus, but not required

This position operates in a professional office environment with moderate noise levels and standard office equipment use.
