Accounting Intern
Key Responsibilities
- Assist with bank account reconciliations
- Process accounts payable invoices and assist with check processing
- Support the review of accounts payable statements
- Absorb balance sheet reconciliations alongside the Accounting Manager and Controller
- Support Staff Accountants with equipment usage entry into the company ERP system
- Absorb recurring monthly general ledger entries and payments
- Help prepare month-end journal entries
- Provide audit support as needed
- Absorb special projects and other accounting-related duties as assigned
Qualifications
- Currently pursuing or recently completed a Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
- Basic understanding of GAAP accounting principles
- Strong Microsoft Excel skills, including pivot tables and lookup formulas preferred
- ERP system experience is a plus, but not required

- Ability to manage multiple assignments and deadlines
- Analytical and problem-solving abilities
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications including Excel, Word, and Outlook
Work Environment
This position operates in a professional office environment with moderate noise levels and standard office equipment use.
