Accounting Intern

About the role

Graco’s Intern Program offers a hands‑on experience where you will work on projects that matter to the business, collaborate with professionals, and develop industry knowledge. The internship supports the Credit and Shared Services team, providing exposure to shared‑service accounting and finance functions while you learn about Graco’s operations.

Responsibilities

• Analyze department metrics for ideal utilization.
• Assist with ERP conversion projects and ensure data integrity.
• Support implementation of the cash automation system.
• Assist credit representatives with customer debits.
• Work with cash‑application specialists to align deductions and repayments.
• Participate in special projects as assigned.
• May communicate with customers by phone and/or email.

Requirements

• Sophomore or junior in college majoring in Accounting, Finance, or Economics.
• Strong team player with ability to work with internal and external customers.
• Excellent organization and workload‑prioritization skills.
• Analytical and problem‑solving abilities with attention to detail.
• Effective communication skills.
• Proficiency with PC applications, especially Microsoft Excel.
• Legally authorized to work in the United States (no immigration sponsorship available).

Pay

Base hourly rate: $21.00 – $28.00, determined by geographic location, skills, education, experience, and internal equity.
