Accounting Intern

Key Responsibilities

• Releasing Customer Debits/Credits related to sales tax requests
• Assisting with the backlog of Customer Debits/Credits
• Manually pushing through Debits/Credits to ensure they are not bulked together
• Outreach to customers for missing Exemption Certificates
• Aid in updating CertifyTax when missing Exemptions are received
• Cross Check Vertex and CertifyTax to make sure Certificates are properly updated
• Afford other tasks as they arise related to the Sales Tax Project

Qualifications

• Currently enrolled in a Bachelor’s degree program in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
• Strong analytical and organizational skills
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
