The Accounting Industry Strategy Expert position is designed for an experienced accounting professional interested in shaping the future of learning solutions for the accounting industry. Key responsibilities include:
- Provide strategic and commercial guidance to ensure learning solutions address real-world challenges faced by accounting firms, including talent development, onboarding, engagement, and productivity.
- Participate in collaborative virtual design sessions to brainstorm immersive simulation scenarios reflecting modern accounting environments.
- Share industry expertise to ensure training experiences are relevant, practical, and aligned with the needs of accounting professionals.
- Help define the value proposition of the learning solution by identifying opportunities to accelerate competency development and improve time to productivity.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including learning designers, creative professionals, technical specialists, and stakeholders, to shape innovative training concepts.
- Contribute insights during proof-of-concept development and provide feedback to strengthen the final solution.
- Support the creation of experiences that address current and future challenges within the accounting profession.
Requirements include extensive professional experience within public accounting, a strong understanding of operational and talent challenges affecting accounting firms, deep knowledge of accounting workflows, professional expectations, and the skills required for career progression, strong strategic thinking skills, comfort with collaborative, high-energy, and evolving environments, excellent communication and influencing skills, passion for the evolution of the accounting profession, and interest in emerging learning technologies such as AI-powered experiences and simulations. CPA certification is preferred but not required.
