About the role

This position completes billing and statistical data entry for Medicaid, Medicare, and private insurance; interviews patients, documents and verifies financial eligibility; processes claims for submission, prepares correspondence, collects fees, and handles additional related duties.

Requirements

• Any combination of education and experience equivalent to graduation from high school.
• At least two years of office assistant/secretarial experience.
• Computer data entry experience (preferred).
• Medical insurance billing and coding experience (preferred).
• Ability to communicate well with the public and work cooperatively with patients and staff.
• Annual flu shot vaccine required (accommodations or medical exemptions apply).

Pay

The hiring range for this position is $32,017–$35,807.
