About the role

This position completes billing and statistical data entry for Medicaid, Medicare, and private insurance; interviews patients, documents and verifies financial eligibility; processes claims for submission, prepares correspondence, collects fees, and handles additional related duties.

Requirements

• Any combination of education and experience equivalent to graduation from high school.
• Demonstrated possession of knowledge, skills, and abilities gained through at least two years of office assistant/secretarial experience.

Preferences

• Computer data entry experience.
• Medical insurance billing and coding experience.
• Ability to communicate well with the public and work cooperatively with patients and staff.

Pay

The hiring range for this position is $32,017 - $35,807.
