Accounting Clerk (Entry-Level)

Position Overview

Smoker & Company LLC is seeking a detail-oriented and dependable Accounting Clerk to join our Leola, PA office. This is an entry-level position with a starting wage of $18.00 per hour, with higher compensation considered for candidates with relevant experience.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
• Good organizational and time-management skills.
• Dependability and reliable attendance.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Ability to adapt and manage priorities in a fast-paced environment, especially during tax season.
• Basic computer skills, including Microsoft Office.
• Preferred: Previous office, bookkeeping, or accounting experience.
• Preferred: Experience with QuickBooks or similar accounting software.
• Preferred: Coursework or education in accounting, business, or a related field.

Key Responsibilities

• Process accounts payable invoices and match invoices to purchase orders.
• Verify invoice information for multiple entities.
• Enter and process customer payments in the accounting system.
• Resolve vendor questions and invoice discrepancies.
• Track and order office supplies.
• Affiliate with the billing and finance team as needed.
• Perform filing, scanning, and document management.
• Complete other accounting and administrative duties as assigned.
