About the role
We are seeking an Accounting Clerk for a manufacturing company. This is a great opportunity for someone early in their accounting career who wants to gain hands-on experience and grow into a full-time position. We are open to an entry-level accounting graduate, current college student studying accounting or finance, or someone with previous accounting experience with QuickBooks experience.
Job Type: Temp-to-Hire. Will move to full-time hours once hired.
Responsibilities
- Assist with accounts payable and accounts receivable
- Enter invoices, payments, and other accounting transactions
- Assist with account and bank reconciliations
- Maintain accurate accounting records and supporting documentation
- Research basic accounting discrepancies
- Assist with data entry and general accounting support
- Support the accounting team with additional projects as needed
Requirements
- QuickBooks experience required; QuickBooks Enterprise preferred
- Accounting coursework, degree, or previous accounting experience
- Open to current college students and recent graduates
- Intermediate Excel skills (vlookup/pivots/formulas)
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy
- Good organizational and communication skills
Schedule
- Start at approximately 20–25 hours per week
- Part-time schedule can work well for someone currently attending school
- Position will transition to full-time hours once hired
Pay
$25/hour
