About the role
Jim Taylor Buick GMC is seeking a detail-oriented and motivated Accounting Clerk to join our team at our Monroe, LA location. This role supports daily accounting operations by helping process financial documents, maintain accurate records, and assist with administrative accounting tasks.
The ideal candidate is organized, dependable, accurate, and comfortable working with financial information in a fast-paced dealership environment.
Responsibilities
- Prepare and process invoices and other financial documents
- Perform accurate data entry and maintain financial records
- Review information for accuracy and completeness
- Respond to internal and external questions regarding financial transactions
- Aid in accounting and administrative support tasks as assigned
- Help maintain organized documentation and records
- Support smooth day-to-day dealership accounting operations
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Previous accounting, bookkeeping, or administrative experience preferred
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, especially Excel
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy
- Excellent organizational and time management skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Professional, dependable, and willing to learn
