Accounting Clerk (Accounts Receivable) – Bilingual Chinese Preferred

Responsibilities

  • Manage day-to-day accounts receivable (A/R) operations, including invoicing, payment collection, and account reconciliation
  • Support accounts payable (A/P) functions as needed and serve as a backup for both A/R and A/P processes
  • Review, verify, and reconcile bank statements and financial transactions to ensure accuracy
  • Assist with monthly budget reconciliation and financial analysis to support business decision-making
  • Prepare and file monthly, quarterly, and annual tax reports in a timely and accurate manner to ensure compliance and avoid penalties
  • Process year-end Form 1099-MISC for vendors in accordance with regulatory requirements
  • Maintain confidential financial data, reports, and documentation with a high level of integrity
  • Support internal and external audit processes, including preparing schedules and providing requested documentation
  • Aid in developing and maintaining accounting SOPs and company-wide financial procedures to improve efficiency and compliance
  • Perform additional duties and ad hoc projects as assigned

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in accounting, Finance, or a related field (required)
  • Bilingual in Chinese Mandarin and English is preferred
  • 1+ years of relevant accounting experience, preferably in accounts receivable or general accounting
  • Strong understanding of GAAP principles and accounting standards
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially advanced Excel (e.g., PivotTables, XLOOKUP, data analysis) and Word
  • Experience with SAP or other ERP systems is a plus
  • High level of accuracy and attention to detail with strong organizational skills
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and work effectively in a fast-paced environment
  • Flexibility to adjust work schedule based on operational needs

Pay

$25.00-$28.00/ hour
