Accounting Associate I

Responsibilities

• Prepare various accounting statements and financial reports.
• Process checks and ACH payments for CNI companies (RW, CAD, CND, CNI, and COS) and make remote deposits of payments received.
• Prepare account reconciliations for CNI companies.
• Execute payment process improvements and resolve AR issues.
• Post cash receipts.
• Perform other job‑related duties as required.
• No supervisory/management authority.
• Work is primarily performed in a climate‑controlled office setting.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED; 0–3 years of related accounting/finance experience, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Familiarity with Microsoft applications.
• Ability to multi‑task and work at a fast pace.
• Strong problem‑solving and process‑improvement abilities.
• Good communication and customer‑service skills.
