About the role
Responsible for assisting in financial record-keeping, budget management, and supporting departmental operations.
Responsibilities
- Enter and reconcile financial transactions into accounting software.
- Prepare and maintain financial reports and records.
- Support departmental budget preparation and monitoring.
- Handle daily cash transactions and bank reconciliations.
- Assist in processing invoices and payments.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or related field.
- At least 1 year of relevant experience in accounting or finance.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel.
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks.
Qualifications
- Knowledge of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP).
- Experience with QuickBooks or similar accounting software.
- Basic understanding of budgeting and financial analysis.
Skills
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to handle confidential information with discretion.
- Proficient in using Microsoft Office Suite.
