Key Responsibilities
- Process and reconcile incoming customer payment remittances.
- Monitor customer payment portals and retrieve payment information.
- Perform daily accounting tasks using Epicor and QuickBooks Online.
- Prepare and maintain the Accounts Receivable Aging Report.
- Send weekly customer statements and follow up on overdue accounts.
- Research and resolve customer payment disputes.
- Assist with maintaining customer payment terms and account information.
- Process and distribute daily incoming mail.
- Filer accounting documents accurately and maintain organized records.
- Assist with front desk coverage as needed.
- Monitor office supplies and update inventory needs.
- Assist with maintaining a clean and organized break room.
- Provide general administrative and accounting support to the Accounting Supervisor.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
- A high school diploma or equivalent is required.
- One to three years of accounting, accounts receivable, or bookkeeping experience is preferred.
- Experience with QuickBooks Online is preferred.
- Experience with ERP systems (Epicor experience is a plus).
- Strong Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Office skills are required.
- Excellent organizational and time management abilities are essential.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills are necessary.
- The ability to work independently while contributing to a team environment is important.
- A high level of accuracy, attention to detail, and confidentiality are required.
