Key Responsibilities For The Accounting And Finance Specialist Oversee daily billing and related accounting processes. Assist in preparing and managing annual budgets. Prepare financial reports, expense reporting, and supporting documentation. Coordinate account reconciliations and support month-end financial activities. Process check runs and help maintain accurate accounting records. Assist with financial statement preparation, audits, and board-level reporting. Qualifications For The Accounting And Finance Specialist Minimum of 2 years of accounting, bookkeeping, finance, or related experience. Experience within government, municipal, nonprofit, utility, or similar environments preferred. Knowledge of budgeting, financial reporting, reconciliations, and general accounting processes. Associate degree in Accounting or an equivalent combination of education and experience preferred.
