About the Role

  • Design, develop, and update unique audit and accounting solutions relied upon by accounting professionals in CPA firms or corporations throughout the U.S.
  • Provide direction on electronic tools that offer practical, step-by-step instruction for customers and optimize retention rates.
  • Apply technical expertise and professional discernment to identify significant topics and practice problems, delivering practical guidance and insights.
  • Oversee project team members, including outside authors and in-house content operations and software development personnel, to ensure deadlines are met.
  • Collaborate with in-house product, technology, customer service, tech support, and sales teams to bridge gaps and ensure customer needs are identified and supported.
  • Communicate with customers (CPAs in public practice and corporations) to resolve their needs and ensure products remain responsive.
  • Assist with strategic development projects as requested.

Requirements

  • CPA certification.
  • At least 5 years of practical experience, preferably as a Manager or Senior Manager in public accounting.
  • Broad-based technical accounting and auditing knowledge with strong research skills.
  • Nonprofit audit and accounting experience or PCAOB (issuer) audit experience preferred; Single Audit (Uniform Guidance) experience is a plus.
  • Ability to execute assignments in a timely, competent manner and identify improvements to products.

Pay

The base compensation range for this role varies by location:

  • New York City, San Francisco, Los Angeles, Irvine (CA), McLean (VA), or Washington, DC: $115,300 – $214,100 USD.
  • All other eligible U.S. locations: $100,100 – $185,900 USD.

Base pay is positioned within the range based on knowledge, skills, experience, and internal equity. This role may also be eligible for an Annual Bonus based on enterprise and individual performance.

Schedule

  • Hybrid role requiring 2-3 days per week in one of the following Thomson Reuters hub locations: Dallas/Frisco (TX), Minneapolis/Eagan (MN), Ann Arbor (MI), or New York City (NY).
