Accounting and Audit CPA Editor

About the Role
- Design, develop, and update unique audit and accounting solutions relied upon by accounting professionals in CPA firms or corporations throughout the U.S.
- Provide direction on electronic tools that offer practical, step-by-step instruction for customers and optimize customer retention rates.
- Apply technical expertise and exercise professional discernment in identifying significant topics and practice problems, delivering practical guidance and practice insights.
- Oversee the efforts of other project team members, including outside authors and in-house content operations and software development personnel, to ensure deadlines are met.
- Collaborate with in-house product, technology, customer service, tech support, and sales teams to bridge gaps and ensure customer needs are properly identified and supported.
- Communicate with customers (CPAs in public practice and corporations) to resolve their needs and ensure products are responsive.
- Assist with strategic development projects as requested.
Requirements
- CPA certification.
- At least 5 years of practical experience, preferably as a Manager or Senior Manager in public accounting.
- Broad-based technical accounting and auditing knowledge with strong research skills.
- Nonprofit audit and accounting experience or PCAOB (issuer) audit experience is preferred; Single Audit (Uniform Guidance) experience is a plus.
- Ability to execute assignments in a timely, competent manner and identify update features, practical insights, and other product improvements.

Pay
The base compensation range varies by location. For eligible office locations including New York City, San Francisco, Los Angeles, Irvine, CA; McLean, VA; and Washington, DC, the range is $115,300 USD - $214,100 USD. For other eligible U.S. locations, the range is $100,100 USD - $185,900 USD. Base pay is positioned within the range based on knowledge, skills, experience, and internal equity. This role may also be eligible for an Annual Bonus based on a combination of enterprise and individual performance.
Schedule
Hybrid role requiring 2-3 days a week in the office, depending on the role. Hub locations include Dallas/Frisco, TX; Minneapolis/Eagan, MN; Ann Arbor, MI; or NYC.
