Accounting Analyst I/II

What You’ll Do

• Perform month-end close activities, including journal entries, account reconciliations, variance analysis, and reporting
• Prepare and maintain financial schedules, reports, and analyses for internal and external stakeholders
• Serve as a resource for less experienced team members and contribute to more complex analyses and projects
• Support internal and external audits by providing clear documentation and explanations
• Analyze large datasets to identify trends, risks, and opportunities for process improvement and automation
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to improve reporting accuracy and operational efficiency

What You Bring

• Required: Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field with strong accounting focus
• Accounting Analyst I: 1+ year of experience in accounting or relevant internship
• Accounting Analyst II: 2+ years of accounting experience (energy industry experience preferred)
• Preferred: CPA or progress toward certification
• Key Skills: Strong analytical, problem-solving, and financial skills; proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel required); effective communication and collaboration across teams; strong organizational skills with attention to detail; continuous improvement mindset with an interest in automation and efficiency
