Accounting Analyst II

Position Summary

The Accounting Analyst II is responsible for performing assignments of moderate complexity and working with greater independence. This role involves a broader range of responsibilities and may include overseeing some aspects of projects. The position is designed for individuals with 2-4 years of experience who are looking to polish their communication, presentation, and analysis skills. This role is well-suited for someone who is forward-thinking, curious, and interested in leveraging technology, automation, and AI-enabled tools to improve accounting processes, reporting accuracy, and overall team efficiency.

Responsibilities

• Perform assignments of moderate complexity, including financial analysis, reporting, and data management
• Assist in the preparation and review of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements
• Support budgeting and forecasting activities, providing insights and recommendations
• Conduct detailed financial analysis to support strategic decision-making
• Oversee specific aspects of projects, ensuring timely and accurate completion
• Ensure compliance with company policies, accounting standards, and regulatory requirements
• Assist in the preparation of audit documentation and respond to audit inquiries
• Maintain accurate and organized financial records

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
• 2-4 years of related experience
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and other financial software
• Good organizational and time management skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy
• Effective communication and presentation skills

Pay

The annual base salary for this position will target $70,000.
