Corteva Agriscience intends to separate into two independent companies on or about October 1, 2026; this planned separation is subject to multiple conditions, including final approval of the transaction by its board of directors. It is Corteva’s current intention, should the separation occur, that this position will align with the standalone Seed Company, Vylor.
About the role
The Accounting Analyst - GL role will be a key team member within our controllership organization, helping drive general accounting projects that create productivity and efficiency for our business teams. You will deliver Finance objectives while partnering with the business and functions to ensure project requirements are met according to timelines.
Responsibilities
- Design, create, and build general ledger solutions for use by global controllership teams.
- Assist the global team to develop new solutions and drive automation.
- Support SAP implementations for GL and data take-on workstreams.
- Assist with data take-on for all ERP and transformation projects.
- Build and leverage strong partnerships with other workstreams, functions, and the business.
- Communicate effectively, identify gaps in processes and designs, and propose improvements.
- Create, maintain, and provide ongoing status updates for milestones and deliverables.
- Report on project dependencies, issues, risks, cross-impacts, resolutions, and mitigations.
- Train business teams to ensure smooth transitions and clear communication of changes or impacts to work processes.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting or Finance required.
- 5–8 years’ experience in Controllership or other Finance roles.
- Positive, open-minded attitude with a willingness to drive change.
- Strong collaboration and business partnering skills.
- Understanding of accounting and finance practices.
- Strong analytical capabilities.
- SAP experience preferred; strong Excel skills required.
