Accounting Analyst

Principal Responsibilities

• Review PM contracts and manage the entire lifecycle of Portfolio Manager agreements, including structuring, onboarding, and compensation calculations.
• Collaborate with various departments such as Portfolio Managers, Business Heads, HR, legal, middle office, and IT on compensation matters.
• Prepare month-end closing, reporting, and compensation-related processes.
• Contribute to strategic projects aimed at increasing operational efficiency and providing value to senior management.
• Handle ad-hoc projects as needed.

Qualifications/Skills Required

• 2+ years of experience in Finance or Accounting, preferably in a hedge fund setting with compensation accounting expertise.
• A Bachelor's degree in business administration, accounting, finance, or a related field is preferred.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills, capable of interacting with senior leaders including management and Portfolio Managers.
• Proven ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment, prioritizing tasks and managing time efficiently.
• Exceptional attention to detail, commitment to accuracy, quality, and integrity.
• Excellent teamwork skills, client service orientation, and willingness to assist colleagues.
• Highly analytical with strong problem-solving abilities and the capacity to meet multiple deadlines.
• Advanced proficiency in Excel, including v-lookups and pivot tables, and experience with Oracle is desirable.

Pay

The estimated base salary range for this position is $70,000 to $160,000, which is specific to New York and may change in the future. Millennium offers a comprehensive benefits package that includes a base salary, discretionary performance bonus, and more.
