Responsibilities
- Stock vehicles into inventory and maintain related records
- Reconcile deposits, receipts, and related documentation
- Aid with deal processing and pre-breakdown review of deals
- Review reserve information and assist with finance-related administrative tasks
- Aid with cancellations and related documentation
- Confirm customer appointments and perform service follow-up calls
- Order and maintain office supplies
- Review transactions and documentation for accuracy and completeness
- Maintain accurate records and dealership files
- Aid with month-end office and accounting activities
- Aid with additional office, accounting, operational, and administrative responsibilities as assigned based on business needs and candidate experience
Qualifications
- Prior accounting experience required
- Automotive dealership experience preferred
- Strong spreadsheet and data management skills required
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- Ability to manage multiple projects, deadlines, and competing priorities
- Professional communication and customer service skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Ability to learn dealership systems and processes
Physical Requirements
- Ability to remain seated for extended periods while performing administrative and accounting functions
- Ability to use a computer, telephone, calculator, and other standard office equipment
- Ability to move throughout the dealership as needed to support operational and administrative functions
- Ability to occasionally lift and carry office supplies, files, and materials weighing up to 50 pounds
