Description
Data Analysis/Communication/Issue Resolution Prevention
- Analyze monthly cost allocations and report the trend of cost components for management decisions.
- Process month-end close and accrual work and generate financial statement package following business unit close schedule.
- Reconcile account balances and bank statements by supporting documents at the month end.
- Research for transferring and adjusting accounting procedures between generally accepted accounting principles and international financial reporting standards with Taiwan headquarters.
- Accounting entries booking support and review.
- Review periodic payment report and coordinate with Treasury Department to dispatch funds.
- Coordinate with manager to file tax relative documents provided by IRS.
- Prepare necessary reports and documents for annual package audits.
- Process and review daily journal entries within a limited time constraint.
- Assist in other projects and accounting department related tasks and jobs.
- Perform every task accurately and reliably.
- Provide effective communication with other departments.

Warehouse Efficiencies Cost Reduction
- Implements warehouse efficiencies and cost reduction programs to assist the company in making better merchandise flow decisions by conducting thorough analysis on key areas which cause product or delivery issues.
- Builds and maintains a work environment that is positive and is supported by open feedback and two-way communication at all levels.
Qualifications
- Requires a Bachelors degree in accounting or finance.
- Requires 2 to 5 years experience as Staff Accountant in like size business.
Essential Skills
- Must have excellent knowledge of accounting principles with strong written and oral communication skills.
- Requires excellent organizational and analytical skills.
- Must have ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Requires strong attention to detail.
- Must have knowledge of a wide variety of financial programs and systems. Requires SAP knowledge and usage.
- Requires ability to read and understand technical forms and associated financial reporting.
- Requires ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships.

Working Conditions
- Must be able to tolerate moderate to high noise levels in a warehouse environment.
- Office and outside environmental conditions found in the warehouse, hot in the summer, cold in the winter.
- Individuals may need to walk for an extensive period of time while working and walking in the facilities;
- To reach over should heights;
- Bend or stoop below the waist;
- Repetitive wrist, hand, or finger movement.
- Employee must be able to lift objects approximately up to 25 pounds.
