Accountant Sr

Job Description The Accountant Sr position will be part of the General Accounting department mainly focused on Accounts Payable type tasks. This position will work with others outside of the General Accounting department in order to resolve day to day issues. The person will be responsible for month end close duties including account reconciliations. The position will include tasks that will require research and problem solving skills. The ideal candidate should be organized, detail oriented, and can work in a fast paced, deadline driven environment. Primary Responsibilities Consist Of Month end close for accounts payable Month end close for purchasing Monthly account reconciliations Researching and resolving aged items including outstanding receipts of material and outstanding payables balances Sales and use tax monthly return filings and payments along with assistance on taxability questions Monthly journals as required Assistance with invoice and/or purchase order issues Support internal, external and government audits Support any system required testing and implementation Required Education, Experience, & Skills Bachelor's Degree and 4 years work experience or equivalent experience Required Skills And Education Bachelor's degree in accounting or finance Self-motivated and process/results oriented Ability to communicate effectively both orally and written Ability to prioritize and self-manage a multi-tasked workload in a fast-paced environment Ability to make decisions with sound judgment while complying with policies and procedures Problem solving and in depth research and analytical skills; Must be detail oriented with meticulous record-keeping skills Advanced Excel skills Preferred Education, Experience, & Skills Oracle ERP KTA (Kofax) iValua Pay Information Full-Time Salary Range: $75254 - $127930 Please note: This range is based on our market pay structures. However, individual salaries are determined by a variety of factors including, but not limited to: business considerations, local market conditions, and internal equity, as well as candidate qualifications, such as skills, education, and experience.
