About The Role
Ignite Visibility is seeking a detail-oriented and motivated Junior Accountant to join our finance team. This fully remote position offers an exciting opportunity for individuals looking to advance their careers in accounting within a fast-paced, innovative environment. The Junior Accountant will play a vital role in supporting daily financial operations, ensuring accuracy in financial reporting, and assisting with month-end closing processes. The ideal candidate will possess strong technical skills, especially in general ledger reconciliations, accounts payable and receivable, and proficiency in Excel and NetSuite. This role requires excellent communication skills, the ability to work independently with minimal supervision, and a commitment to accuracy and timeliness. The position is open to U.S. residents located on the East Coast, with eligibility to work in the United States.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Business Administration, or a related field
- 2+ years of recent experience with NetSuite ERP system
- Experience with GL reconciliations and multi-accounting environments (1-3 years preferred)
- Experience with solution 7 is desirable but not mandatory
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, especially Excel
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to accuracy
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a remote setting
- Located on the East Coast and eligible to work in the U.S.
Responsibilities
- Assist the Senior Accountant and Controller with daily, monthly, and end-of-period financial operations
- Prepare and review monthly Balance Sheet reconciliations, including bank accounts, fixed assets, prepaid expenses, and accruals
- Conduct commission analysis and calculations accurately
- Maintain and organize accounting files and documentation systematically
- Support processing activities within the BambooHR system and ensure data integrity
- Coordinate and communicate effectively with internal teams and external partners regarding financial matters
- Participate in month-end and year-end closing processes to ensure timely reporting
- Contribute to process improvements and automation initiatives within the accounting department
