Overview

DURATION: Indefinite; expected to last three to six months.
Position: Supervise the Human Services Plus procurement team (five staff members).

Responsibilities

  • Cooking and prioritizing workloads.
  • Recruiting new staff as needed.
  • Evaluating and assisting staff.
  • Leading and managing complex relationships.
  • Strategically coordinating multiple projects in a self-directed manner.
  • Overseeing the annual revision to the PCRB and PUR-1 rules.
  • Finalizing and implementing a suite of CPCA sponsored purchasing trainings.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree with major course work in accounting, finance or a directly related field.
  • Three (3) years of progressively responsible accounting or fiscal management experience.
  • One (1) year of experience leading or supervising the work of others.
  • A certificate (NIGP or NAPM) as CPPB is desired.

Qualifications

  • Qualified current regular and probationary Multnomah County employees.

Special Projects

  • Oversee the annual revision to the PCRB and PUR-1 rules.
  • Finalize and implement a suite of CPCA sponsored purchasing trainings.
