About the role

As an Accountant II supporting the Controllership accounting function, you will have the opportunity to be part of an incredible team that supports our growing and complex global business. Our teams lead the accounting for multiple disciplines within the organization, including retail store occupancy, investments, compensation, and corporate treasury and risk functions.

Responsibilities

  • Prepare journal entries and/or financial statement disclosures for accuracy and compliance with company policies and applicable accounting principles.
  • Prepare account reconciliations.
  • Maintain and develop various accounting systems and processes.
  • Support month and quarter end close.
  • Perform trend and variance analysis as part of month- and quarter-end close.
  • Support quarterly earnings reporting and ongoing budget and forecasting processes.
  • Produce ad-hoc reporting and analysis to support business operational, financial and strategic decisions.

Qualifications

  • Experience in accounting at a professional level, including journal entries, account reconciliation, reporting and analysis or equivalent experience (1+ years).
  • Bachelor’s degree required; degree in Accounting, Finance or related field preferred.
  • Experience using an ERP system and business intelligence and reporting tools (such as Hyperion, Anaplan, and Oracle) preferred.

Skills

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.

Pay

The actual base pay offered to the successful candidate will be based on multiple factors, including but not limited to job-related knowledge/skills, experience, geographical location, and internal equity.
