Join our Accounting Controllers team as an Analyst II, contributing to the accuracy of financial data, reporting, budgeting, compliance, and operational accounting activities in a plant accounting role focused on Midstream operations.

Responsibilities

  • Collect, analyze, and interpret financial and operational data to support accounting activities and business decisions.
  • Prepare journal entries, account reconciliations, and financial reports.
  • Track budget performance, monitor variances, and provide reporting to support financial management processes.
  • Generate standard and ad hoc reports by extracting, combining, and validating data from multiple systems.
  • Support data management processes and provide guidance on the effective use of accounting and reporting tools.
  • Respond to internal and external inquiries regarding accounting policies, procedures, and financial information.
  • Work proactively with external auditors to drive timely closure of accounting matters and support Finance teams to ensure proper accounting and disclosures.
  • Identify opportunities to improve reporting accuracy, data quality, and work processes.

Requirements

  • Legally authorized to work in the job posting country.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, and/or equivalent experience.
  • Travel up to 5% of the time.

Qualifications

  • 1 or more years of experience performing accounting, financial analysis, reporting, budgeting, or related accounting functions.
  • Experience with integrated account systems such as SAP, TIPS, Allegro, and Aligne.
  • Experience with budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis.
  • Knowledge of management accounting, project accounting, or P&L analysis.
  • Experience with database reporting, business intelligence tools, or SQL-based reporting solutions.
  • Experience supporting continuous improvement initiatives and process optimization.
  • Knowledge of statistical analysis techniques and financial modeling.
  • Strong collaboration and stakeholder communication skills.
  • Ability to analyze and interpret financial data and communicate findings effectively.
  • Experience using Microsoft Office applications, including Excel.
  • Knowledge of accounting principles, financial controls, and reporting practices.
  • Strong organizational, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities.

Pay

This position has a base salary range of $82,800 – $101,200. Each role is assigned a salary grade with a defined pay range, benchmarked against industry peers. Where a candidate offer falls within the posted range depends on the candidate's experience, skills, and alignment with the role’s requirements.
