Accountant II

WCS Healthcare Partners is seeking a skilled professional for a temp-to-permanent opportunity in Naples, Florida. This fully on-site position involves performing moderately complex accounting and financial-management functions. The ideal candidate will operate with minimal supervision, independently analyze financial data, and prepare information to support management decision-making and financial reporting.Responsibilities:Prepare financial reports and assist with budget analysisSupport grant reporting and related compliance requirementsPerform debt-compliance reviews and account reconciliationsAssist with internal audits and cash-management activitiesMaintain and reconcile fixed-asset recordsApply governmental fund-accounting principlesAnalyze financial data and prepare reports for managementEnsure compliance with applicable accounting standardsMaintain accurate financial records using automated accounting systemsQualifications:Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related fieldMinimum of three years of Staff Accountant or related accounting experienceGovernmental accounting or auditing experience requiredFixed-asset accounting experience requiredKnowledge of governmental GAAP and GASB 34 reporting requirementsCPA preferredStrong analytical and problem-solving skillsExcellent organizational, communication, and interpersonal skillsProficiency with Microsoft OfficeValid Florida driver’s licenseAbility to work a flexible schedule, including occasional evenings, weekends, and holidaysAdditional Requirements:Must be comfortable working fully on-site in NaplesMust pass a national background check and 10-panel drug screeningCandidates seeking compensation above $80,000 cannot be considered Disclosure: The hourly rates and/or salaries listed may or may not reflect total compensation packages including bonus and fringe benefits, etc., nor are the advertisement(s) posted a guarantee of a certain compensation package for a position or bona fide offer of employment.
