Accountant II

Responsibilities

  • Provide monthly forecasting and analysis for material variances, spends and inventory
  • Perform studies and analysis, including the support for setting standards for material, labor and overhead
  • Review transaction errors to ensure proper impact on perpetual and G/L records
  • Determine variances and drive continuous process improvements
  • Support new product development
  • Prepare and analyze cost reports
  • Perform the monthly accounting close process, balance sheet reconciliations, and journal entry postings
  • Support compliance with Sarbanes Oxley and related audits
  • Lead annual physical inventory process and related reconciliation
  • Ensure timely, accurate, and relevant financial reports for plant management
  • Handle ad hoc requests and projects

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in accounting and/or Finance, CPA preferred
  • 3+ years of experience in a manufacturing or production environment
  • Strong PC skills (Excel, Access, PowerPoint)
  • Sound business knowledge applicable to a manufacturing environment
  • Knowledge in data analytics tools such as Tableau, Dataiku
  • Manufacturing experience a plus

Pay

Annual Base Salary Range: $56,300.00 - $101,394.99
