Responsibilities

  • Complete month-end accounting tasks, including preparing and posting journal entries within enterprise financial systems.
  • Review financial and transactional information across multiple platforms to identify discrepancies and confirm data accuracy.
  • Reconcile general ledger activity and validate mappings between systems to support reliable financial reporting.
  • Produce weekly and monthly competitive allowance reporting for leadership, ensuring information is timely and well organized.
  • Assist with special assignments and ad hoc analysis requested by management to support business decisions.
  • Contribute to book-of-record related initiatives by helping align data and maintain consistency across systems.
  • Investigate variances or processing issues and help resolve them through thoughtful analysis and coordination with internal teams.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting preferred; a degree in Finance from an accredited institution will also be considered.
  • Up to 4 years of relevant accounting, finance, or related business experience preferred.
  • Working knowledge of U.S. GAAP and core accounting principles.
  • Experience performing reconciliations, handling large data sets, and supporting general ledger accuracy.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications, especially intermediate Excel skills.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and troubleshooting abilities with close attention to detail.
  • Effective communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work successfully across different functional areas.
  • Exposure to ERP platforms such as SAP or PeopleSoft, and familiarity with Power BI, is considered an asset.

Skills

  • Accounting, Finance, or related business experience.
  • Intermediate Excel skills.

  • Familiarity with Power BI.
