About the role
The Accountant II is responsible for performing a variety of professional accounting functions, including preparing, analyzing, and reviewing financial statements, maintaining accurate accounting records, and ensuring compliance with applicable accounting standards and company policies. This role supports the organization's financial operations through the preparation of balance sheets, profit and loss statements, reconciliations, and other financial reports that assist in business decision-making. The Accountant II works with minimal supervision, applies established accounting principles and sound judgment to resolve routine and moderately complex issues, and collaborates with internal departments to support financial accuracy and operational efficiency. The position may also provide guidance and support to less experienced accounting staff while contributing to the overall effectiveness of the accounting function.
Responsibilities
- Prepares, analyzes, and reviews financial statements using accounting principles.
- Keeps records of account entries by compiling and analyzing accounting activities.
- Prepares reports for month-end close.
- Reviews financial statements for completeness, accuracy, and compliance.
- Responsible for accounting operations and/or a complex segment of the accounting function.
- Coordinates accounting matters with other departments as necessary.
- Performs any other responsibilities as assigned by the Supervisor from time to time.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree required.
- 2+ years of related experience required.
Schedule
Hybrid schedule working Tues, Wed, Thurs in-office.
Pay
The salary range for this role is $76,600 - $86,600. The targeted range takes into account factors such as skill sets, experience and training, licensure and certifications, and other business and organizational needs. Compensation decisions depend on the facts and circumstances of each case.
