Accountant, Cash Treasury & Reconciliation

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare daily and monthly bank reconciliations for multiple accounts
• Manage daily cash positioning
• Supervise Sales Audit associates that oversee credit card and other tender type reconciliation to in-store and ecommerce points of sale
• Manage gift card liability reconciliations and breakage
• Initiate documents with banking partners regarding the importation of merchandise
• Establish new bank accounts as necessary
• Post daily cash transactions including store deposits and other cash-related journal entries
• Research and resolve reconciling items and discrepancies
• Maintain escheatment records and compliance
• Support treasury with daily cash reporting
• Support treasury with annual insurance renewals and claims reporting

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance
• 4+ years of accounting experience with treasury/cash focus
• Bank reconciliation experience
• Retail industry experience preferred
• Supervisory experience required
