About the Role

As an Account Supervisor, you'll lead some of our most important client partnerships while mentoring a talented team of strategists and community managers. You'll serve as a trusted advisor to clients, shape integrated social and digital marketing strategies, collaborate across creative and production teams, and identify opportunities that drive long-term client growth. This role is ideal for an experienced agency leader who enjoys solving complex business challenges, developing future leaders, building lasting relationships, and creating work that delivers measurable results.

What You'll Do

  • Become the trusted strategic advisor for assigned client accounts, building strong relationships with executive stakeholders.
  • Develop integrated social media and digital marketing strategies aligned with client goals and business objectives.
  • Anticipate client needs, uncover opportunities, and recommend innovative solutions that drive measurable business outcomes.
  • Present strategic recommendations, campaign insights, and executive-level reporting with confidence and clarity.
  • Lead, mentor, and coach Senior Strategist and Community Managers, fostering collaboration, accountability, and professional growth.
  • Conduct regular coaching conversations and annual performance reviews that support employee development.
  • Partner with agency leadership to cultivate a high-performing, inclusive, and collaborative team culture.
  • Translate business objectives into integrated marketing strategies spanning organic social, paid social, influencer partnerships, community management, and digital campaigns.
  • Identify opportunities to grow existing client partnerships through strategic recommendations and expanded scopes of work.
  • Contribute to agency growth through participation in new business pitches, RFP responses, and client presentations.
  • Oversee the planning, execution, and delivery of integrated campaigns from concept through reporting.
  • Ensure projects are delivered on time, within budget, and at the highest quality standards.
  • Collaborate closely with Strategy, Creative, Paid Media, Production, and Analytics teams to deliver seamless, high-impact work.
  • Oversee account budgets, forecasting, resource allocation, and profitability.
  • Translate campaign performance and analytics into actionable recommendations that help clients achieve their goals.
  • Champion operational improvements that enhance team collaboration, workflow efficiency, and client service.

What Success Looks Like in Your First 90 Days

During your first few months, you'll focus on building relationships, establishing trust, and gaining a deep understanding of our clients and agency. You'll be successful by:

  • Building strong relationships with your clients and internal teams.
  • Taking ownership of key client accounts and agency processes.
  • Identifying opportunities to strengthen client partnerships and improve team collaboration.
  • Contributing strategic ideas that create measurable value for clients.

Required Qualifications

  • 5–7 years of experience in account management within a social media, digital marketing, or advertising agency.
  • 2–3 years of leadership experience managing teams and developing talent.
  • Demonstrated success leading complex client relationships and integrated marketing programs.
  • Expertise in social media strategy, content marketing, paid social, platform best practices, and marketing analytics.
  • Experience collaborating across creative, strategy, media, and production teams.
  • Strong business acumen with experience managing budgets, profitability, and account growth.
  • Exceptional communication, presentation, and client relationship management skills.
  • Highly organized with the ability to prioritize multiple projects in a fast-paced agency environment.
  • Familiarity with generative AI tools and a thoughtful approach to incorporating emerging technology into client service and agency operations.
  • Ability to travel as needed.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience working with destination marketing organizations, tourism, hospitality, or travel brands.
  • Experience leading integrated marketing campaigns across multiple digital channels.
  • Experience participating in agency new business pitches and winning client accounts.
  • Familiarity with influencer marketing, creator partnerships, social listening, and community management.
  • Advanced understanding of emerging social platforms, digital trends, and evolving consumer behaviors.

Success in This Role

Success in this position is measured by your ability to build strong client partnerships, develop high-performing teams, and contribute to agency growth. You will be successful when you:

  • Maintain client retention of 90% or higher.
  • Grow existing client revenue by 5–10% year over year through strategic account development.
  • Meet or exceed target profitability across assigned accounts.
  • Contribute to agency growth through active participation in new business pitches and RFPs.
  • Introduce strategic innovations, platform opportunities, or process improvements on a quarterly basis.
  • Maintain an average client Net Promoter Score (NPS) of 8.5 or higher.
  • Complete annual performance reviews and ongoing coaching that contribute to measurable employee engagement and development.

Salary Range

$92,000 - $96,000
