Account Specialist
About the Role
We are seeking a motivated and customer-focused Landscaping Account Specialist to join our team. In this role, you will serve as the primary liaison between Mackey Services and assigned property owners and/or managers, ensuring all landscape-related services are delivered to the highest standards of quality and professionalism.
Responsibilities
- Provide exceptional 5-star customer service
- Serve as the primary point of contact for assigned landscaping clients
- Address client concerns promptly, professionally, and with solution-based communication
- Proactively identify opportunities to expand services within existing accounts
- Execute annual contract renewals and service increases
- Oversee sold work to ensure timely execution and high-quality results
- Coincide with internal teams to ensure accurate scheduling, completion and service close-out
- Build and maintain strong client relationships through consistent communication and follow-through
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Horticulture, or related field preferred
- Minimum of 2 years of sales or account management experience in landscaping or a related field
- Strong communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills
- Proven success in sales, account growth, or client retention
- Strong organizational and time-management abilities
- Proficiency with CRM software, Microsoft Office, and Google Workspace applications
- Able to travel locally up to 75% of the time
- Valid driver’s license and acceptable driving record
- Must be able to pass a background check
