About the role
Green Garden Landscaping is a growing, high-end residential landscaping company serving the Greater Seattle area. We specialize in maintenance, irrigation, and design-build projects, working with clients who expect a high level of communication, professionalism, and results.
We're looking for an experienced Account Manager to own client relationships from first meeting through project completion and beyond. This role is part relationship manager, part estimator, part project overseer. Someone with a real landscaping, arborist, or construction background who understands the work well enough to scope it accurately, manage it in the field, and grow the account over time.
Responsibilities
- Meet with prospective and existing clients on-site to understand their needs, vision, and project goals.
- Develop detailed and accurate proposals using our CRM and estimating software, ensuring scope, materials, and pricing are correct.
- Present proposals and confidently communicate value, scope, and pricing through in-person meetings, Google Meet, or email.
- Manage client communication throughout the full relationship — from first estimate through project completion and ongoing maintenance — via email, phone, and in-person.
- Follow up consistently on open proposals to close sales and build long-term client relationships.
- Own assigned client accounts, identifying and proposing enhancements, upgrades, and add-on services (upsells) that fit the client's property and goals.
- Collaborate with maintenance, construction, and irrigation teams to ensure accurate scoping and alignment before work begins.
- Prepare clear scopes of work and hand off projects to field crews, ensuring they understand client expectations and key details.
- Manage active projects from start to finish, confirming work matches the approved scope and client vision, and escalating issues as needed.
- Handle the administrative and backend work that comes with managing accounts — proposal tracking, scheduling coordination, documentation, and follow-through in LMN and HubSpot.
- Aid in creating and delivering presentations and decks for clients via Google Meet, in person, or email.
- Educate clients on services, process, and ongoing landscape care, reinforcing our value throughout the relationship.
Qualifications
- Background in landscaping, arboriculture, or construction strongly preferred — you should know the work, not just how to sell it.
- Irrigation knowledge or experience is a plus.
- 1-3+ years in a client-facing role such as account management, project management, or sales; landscaping/construction industry experience is what we care about most.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, comfortable speaking with high-end clients.
- Comfortable managing a project from estimate through completion, including the admin and backend work that goes with it.
- Highly organized and able to manage multiple accounts, proposals, and follow-ups at once.
- Tech-savvy and comfortable learning new systems quickly — LMN and HubSpot experience is a plus, Google Workspace, Slack, and WhatsApp experience preferred.
- Ability to learn quickly and adapt in a fast-paced, growing company environment.
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
- Bilingual in English and Spanish is a plus
What We Offer

- Performance-based bonuses
- 401(k) plan with company match
- Growth and advancement opportunities within the company
- Hands-on training and development in account management, estimating, and landscaping systems
- Supportive team environment
