Account Servicing Specialist - 61+ Day Collections

About the role

The Account Servicing Specialist (61+ Days) will service auto loan accounts that are 61+ days delinquent and document all collection activities using loan servicing software.

Essential Responsibilities

• Follow and ensure compliance with all company policies and procedures as well as the Fair Debt Collection Practices Act (FDCPA).
• Negotiate payment arrangements with borrowers, including suggesting alternative payment methods and establishing procedures.
• Aid borrowers in developing strategies to retain their vehicles while meeting loan obligations.
• Accurately and professionally document account information and collection activities.
• Utilize skip tracing tools and reference sources to locate delinquent borrowers.

Essential Requirements

• 2+ years of experience in the automotive collections field working with 61+ delinquent accounts.
• 2+ years of skip tracing experience.
• Reinstatement experience is a plus.
• Effective communication, negotiation, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to read, interpret, and apply federal, state, and local collections regulations.
• Professional, tactful, and sensitive customer interaction skills.
• Fast-paced work environment adaptability and ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Flexible work schedule availability and willingness to work overtime.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Bilingual (English/Spanish) proficiency preferred.

Schedule

Available to work a flexible work schedule and overtime as needed.

Pay

$22.00 - $30.00 per hour + Bonus
