Responsibilities
- Manage and grow relationships within an assigned portfolio of existing customers
- Drive customer retention and satisfaction through proactive engagement and consistent follow-up
- Identify opportunities to increase share of wallet through cross-selling and upselling relevant solutions
- Develop and execute territory and account growth plans to expand revenue within existing accounts
- Conduct regular customer meetings and business reviews to understand operational needs and future opportunities
- Deliver solution-based proposals that demonstrate value, efficiency, and total cost of ownership advantages
- Serve as the primary point of contact for customers, coordinating internally to ensure strong service and fulfillment
- Maintain accurate customer records, activity tracking, and opportunity management within Salesforce CRM
- Analyze sales data, purchasing patterns, and customer trends to identify expansion opportunities
- Collaborate cross-functionally with internal teams including operations, marketing, and customer support to enhance the customer experience
- Promote Ascentek’s e-Commerce platform and digital tools to improve convenience and engagement
- Monitor competitive activity and industry trends that may impact existing customer relationships
- Represent Ascentek professionally at customer meetings, industry events, and trade shows
- Model Ascentek’s core values through teamwork, accountability, and commitment to doing what’s right
- Contribute to company culture through collaboration, continuous improvement, and participation in team initiatives
Requirements
- 3–5 years of account management, territory management, or customer relationship sales experience
- Proven success in retaining customers and expanding revenue within existing accounts
- Experience using CRM systems, preferably Salesforce
- Strong relationship management and customer engagement skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to influence decision-makers
- Highly organized with disciplined follow-up and account planning habits
- An analytical mindset with the ability to interpret customer purchasing data and trends
- A customer-focused approach with strong problem-solving capabilities
- Advanced Microsoft Excel skills including pivot tables and data analysis
- Lubricant coursework and/or certifications preferred; Training on heavy-duty and technical skills will be provided
- Familiarity with technical or solution-based selling
- Ability to manage multi-location or enterprise-level accounts

Pay
The anticipated hiring range for the role is between $70,000 and $80,000 annually. This range is based on experience and qualifications, education and certifications, market and industry benchmarks, and internal equity.
