Account/Project Support Specialist I

About the role

The Account/Project Support Specialist plays a crucial role in ensuring customer satisfaction and profitability for AMECO. They liaise between customers, operations, purchasing, and account managers to manage customer needs effectively.

Responsibilities

• Prepare quotes and enter customer orders.
• Make sales and customer service follow-up calls.
• Assess program strengths and identify areas for improvement.
• Facilitate customer feedback and collaborate on relationship building.
• Manage and utilize opportunities to lower costs and increase revenue.
• Work directly with customers and account managers on pricing, inventory, and reporting needs.
• Adhere to and support AMECO's policies.
• Develop and apply core skills independently.
• Travel to attend to business-related matters.
• Analyze and recommend solutions to problems.

Requirements

• Accredited two (2) years technical or business degree, preferred.
• Minimum of 3 years of sales, account management or customer service-related work experience.
• Ability to communicate with business etiquette verbally or electronically.
• Intermediate Excel skills.
• Industrial/Construction tooling knowledge is a plus.
• Strong multitasking and problem-solving skills.
• SAP experience, particularly SAP Business One, is a plus.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Proven track record of sales.
