Account/Project Support Specialist I

About the role

The Account/Project Support Specialist plays a crucial role in ensuring customer satisfaction and profitability for AMECO. They work closely with customers, operations, purchasing, and account managers to manage customer orders, facilitate communication, and drive process improvements.

Responsibilities

• Prepare quotes and enter customer orders.
• Make sales and customer service follow-up calls.
• Assess program strengths and identify areas for improvement.
• Facilitate customer feedback and relationship building.
• Manage opportunities to reduce costs and increase revenue.
• Collaborate with customers on pricing, inventory, and reporting needs.
• Support AMECO's Health, Safety and Environmental and Sustainability Policies.
• Develop and apply core skills to solve problems independently.
• Juggle multiple time-sensitive priorities and deliver quality support.

Requirements

• Accredited two (2) years technical or business degree, preferred.
• Minimum of 3 years of sales, account management or customer service-related work experience.
• Ability to communicate effectively with various stakeholders.
• Intermediate Excel skills.
• Industrial/Construction tooling knowledge is a plus.
• Strong multitasking and problem-solving skills.
• SAP experience, particularly SAP Business One, is a plus.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Proven track record of sales and service orientation.
