Responsibilities

  • Captures and coordinates account administration for fiduciary, investment management, estate settlement, guardianship, and/or custody accounts for complex client relationships.
  • Manages client issues and communicates resolutions to clients.
  • Maintains knowledge of governing documents and account agreements.
  • Communicates with service partners regarding client requests and gathers necessary information.
  • Develops and executes action plans for client servicing events and follows up with clients.
  • Collaborates with the Client Support Services Team on account setup, cash movements, and fee set-ups.
  • Promotes service efficiency and process improvements through creative measures.
  • Keeps abreast of various business applications critical to relationship management, such as client online tools.
  • Assists Trust Advisors, Estate Settlement Administrators, Guardianship Administrators, and/or Client Advisors in account acceptance, discretionary request analysis, compliance management, and annual account reviews.
  • Supports business development and client presentations for Trust Advisors, Estate Settlement Administrators, Guardianship Administrators, and/or Client Advisors.
  • Serves as a key subject matter expert and mentor to junior-level employees.
  • May manage daily operational activities and supervise junior-level employees (without a formal management role).
  • More technically proficient in their area of expertise and knowledgeable across other areas.
  • Able to facilitate discussions and make decisions.

Knowledge

  • Excellent oral and written communication skills.
  • In-depth functional and industry knowledge of personal trust, estate, guardian, and advisory services and products, typically gained through related work experience.
  • In-depth knowledge of internal bank trust functions.
  • Analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
  • Highly flexible and adaptable to change.
  • Technical skills and system knowledge (e.g., Peoplesoft).

Experience

A College or University degree and/or relevant proven work experience are preferred. Five to seven years of experience in financial servicing or related experience/credentials are also preferred.
