Work Environment
This position is based at Rowan Online’s dynamic and interactive team hub, located in downtown Glassboro, NJ. Rowan Online Account Managers thrive in our contemporary collaborative workspace, intentionally designed to facilitate meaningful connections and innovative thinking. In addition to the synergistic work environment, this role is eligible to participate in Rowan's Flexible Work Arrangement (hybrid work) policy. To ensure exceptional support for our external partners and students, in-office and remote days follow a consistent pattern, with regular adjustments for strategic meetings, partner engagement, and special events.
This role occasionally requires evening and weekend hours, as well as local travel to partner organizations, including hospitals and healthcare systems, to provide diverse engagement opportunities with Rowan Online’s workforce learning community.
Responsibilities
- Strategic Partnership Development and Management
- Build, manage, and expand education partnerships with healthcare organizations, professional associations, and workforce development groups.
- Develop productive relationships across multiple levels of partner organizations, including executive leadership, operational leaders, and designated Points of Contact.
- Identify new partnership opportunities while strengthening existing relationships to drive measurable recruitment and enrollment outcomes.
- Ongoing Engagement and Relationship Stewardship
- Serve as the primary contact for assigned healthcare partners, maintaining responsive and reliable communication to support strong collaboration.
- Conduct regular engagement meetings to review partnership activity, recruitment outcomes, and opportunities for expanded collaboration.
- Provide consistent support through proactive communication, timely follow-up, and responsiveness to partner needs.
- Recruitment and Enrollment Growth
- Support student recruitment through relationship-based engagement with healthcare partners.
- Participate in and facilitate recruitment meetings, informational sessions, and live recruitment events to generate prospective student interest.
- Contribute to enrollment growth by supporting recruitment initiatives aligned with partnership activities.
- Outreach and Business Development Activity
- Maintain personalized outreach to partner leadership and key stakeholders through phone, email, and professional networking platforms.
- Plan and conduct partnership meetings and recruitment discussions that align Rowan Online offerings with healthcare workforce development needs.
- Identify and develop new opportunities to strengthen partnerships and expand program awareness among prospective learners.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration
- Work closely with Business Development Representatives to ensure smooth transitions of qualified leads and continuity of partner engagement.
- Coordinate with internal teams to support recruitment-focused events and partnership initiatives.
- Collaborate with enrollment, academic, and operational teams to ensure partnership strategies align with institutional priorities and program offerings.
- Data Management and Accountability
- Maintain accurate documentation of partner interactions, outreach efforts, and partnership outcomes using CRM tools.
- Track engagement activity and partnership progress to support strategic planning and continuous improvement.
- Ensure timely reporting of outreach, meetings, recruitment efforts, and partnership engagement outcomes.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent combination of education and relevant experience required.
- Excellent interpersonal and customer service skills.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Proven ability to manage multiple partnerships and priorities simultaneously.
- Strong organizational, time management, and attention to detail skills.
- Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively with cross-functional teams.
- Proficiency with CRM tools, outreach platforms, and Microsoft Office or similar applications.
- Successfully complete criminal clearance as required.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience working with healthcare, workforce development organizations, or employer partnerships.
- Experience in higher education, online learning, or adult/continuing education environments.
- Demonstrated success in partnership development, recruitment, or enrollment growth roles.
- Experience working with healthcare organizations, hospitals, or healthcare systems.

Pay
The annual base salary range for this position is $85,000.00 - $100,000.00, with placement within the range determined by candidate's qualifications, professional experience, internal equity, and other factors.
Schedule
Monday-Friday 8:00am-4:00pm, or other schedule agreed upon by the employee and Supervisor.
