Account Manager Trainee

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

• Aid Account Managers in managing customer accounts, ensuring client satisfaction and timely response to inquiries.
• Learn company products, services, and processes to effectively support customer needs.
• Help prepare quotes, proposals, and service agreements.
• Support the coordination of projects, scheduling, and communication between departments.
• Track and follow up on customer requests, orders, and service issues.
• Maintain accurate records in CRM or account management systems.
• Participate in meetings with clients and internal teams to understand account management strategies.
• Gather and analyze customer data to identify trends and opportunities.
• Learn to manage renewals, service expansions, and upselling opportunities.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in business, communications, or related field preferred; equivalent experience considered.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office; knowledge of CRM software a plus.

Physical Demands

• Prolonged periods of sitting and computer use;
• Regularly required to sit and use hands, talk or hear, stand; walk and reach with hands and arms;
• Occasionally lift and/or move up to 10 pounds.

• Close vision.
