Hertz is hiring a Manager Trainee to support location performance, develop leadership skills, and prepare for promotion to Branch Manager in as little as 12–18 months. This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a fast‑paced environment and is eager to learn all aspects of the business.
Responsibilities
- Support achievement of location sales goals and deliver excellent customer experiences to contribute to high service scores.
- Learn and apply sales techniques and CRM best practices.
- Gain hands‑on experience in fleet logistics and inventory control; assist with store operations and compliance.
- Support the team with vehicle cleaning, preparation, lot management, and customer‑service assistance.
- Learn finance processes, support deal completion, and understand reporting, documentation, and business metrics.
- Shadow and support management in daily operations; build skills in team leadership, scheduling, and performance coaching; prepare for future leadership roles through structured training.
Requirements
- Must be 20 years of age or older.
- High School Diploma or equivalent required.
- Valid driver’s license.
- Strong computer and multitasking skills.
- Excellent written and verbal communication.
- Self‑motivated, adaptable, and eager to grow.
- Exceptional time‑management skills.
- Flexible scheduling including nights, weekends, and holidays as needed.
- Ability to thrive in a fast‑paced environment.
- Presentable attire.
- Experience working in a professional environment.
Pay
The starting wage for this position is $33,280 per year or $16.00 per hour.
