Account Manager - West Coast or Southwest
About the role
We are building out our commercial team to make the personalized prediction and prevention of heart attack and stroke at scale possible. As our first Practice Development Manager, you'll be a trailblazer: owning the post-sale relationship with cardiologists, practice leaders, and care teams across a defined territory, building the programs and partnerships that drive long-term adoption of Elucid's technologies.
Responsibilities
- Owning the post-sale relationship with cardiologists, practice leaders, and care teams across a defined territory
- Identifying needs and designing initiatives around clinical workflows, referral development, and market access
- Executing on initiatives to drive long-term adoption of Elucid's technologies
- Building and executing strategic account plans that achieve growth objectives, working collaboratively with sales and marketing teams
- Proficient in Salesforce and other business development tools
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in a technical or clinical field (advanced degree preferred)
- Previous experience in medical device software, cardiology, or medical imaging
- Demonstrated track record of launching new technologies or workflows and driving adoption
- Strong knowledge of healthcare systems, practice management, and provider reimbursement
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to build rapport, influence decision-makers, and educate clinical stakeholders through formal presentations, workshops, peer-to-peer education, and one-on-one engagement
- Strong project management skills
Qualifications
- Experience introducing new cardiovascular technology into clinical settings
- Highly motivated, action-oriented approach suited to a fast-moving startup environment
- Willingness to travel; initially, travel may exceed 50% of the time

Pay
The anticipated base salary range for this position at Elucid is $110,000-$145,000. Compensation will be influenced by a wide array of factors including but not limited to internal pay equity, job-related knowledge, skills, education, relevant experience, certifications, and geography as outlined in the job description.
Schedule
Boston-area employees are encouraged to work from the office on Mondays and Wednesdays, with the option to come in additional days if they prefer. Fully remote employees outside the Boston area come in as needed.
