The territory encompasses Columbus to Toledo to Grand Rapids, but not Detroit. Qualified candidates need to live in Columbus or Grand Rapids.

About the role

Reporting to the Division Sales Manager – Targeted Accounts, the Account Manager will contribute to BeOne’s overall sales objectives by performing assigned sales activities. This role provides physicians, pharmacists, and healthcare professionals with products, services, and information to enable them to prescribe BeOne’s portfolio of products safely and effectively. The focus is on strategic initiatives in high-performing accounts to support the Hematology and Solid Tumor franchises (Hematology in the near term).

The ideal candidate will manage territory and administrative requirements efficiently, achieve full compliance with drug laws and regulations, and demonstrate strength in teamwork, entrepreneurial mindset, and driving for results.

Responsibilities

  • Promotes BeOne’s Hematology and Solid Tumor (Hematology in the near term) products through calls on targeted physicians in the assigned territory.
  • Implements sales, marketing, and patient support programs to acquire and retain patients on BeOne Hematology and Solid Tumor products.
  • Trains and educates physician support staff on the proper use and handling of BeOne’s Hematology and Solid Tumor products.
  • Ensures healthcare professionals have realistic expectations concerning the use of BeOne’s products with their patients.
  • Maintains communication and integrates activities with BeOne’s Market Access and Customer Enterprise teams, collaborating with Field Medical when appropriate.
  • Identifies customer prescribing trends and territory dynamics, ensuring appropriate allocation of resources to opportunities.
  • Completes all clinical training, sales training, and eLMS/Compliance Wire assignments.
  • Performs administrative functions, including reporting call activity, entering customer/account information, submitting expenses, and utilizing the corporate credit card.
  • Complies with applicable BeOne policies and procedures (e.g., healthcare compliance, adverse event reporting, travel and expense reporting).
  • Assists in identifying and resolving opportunities and challenges; communicates insights proactively to marketing and sales leadership.
  • Works effectively in fast-paced environments with shifting priorities.

Requirements

  • B.A. / B.S. degree preferred or relevant experience.
  • 8+ years of pharmaceutical sales and sales management experience, with significant oncology experience.
  • Self-starting, self-managing, and independent work style.
  • Dedication to making customer service a priority.
  • Results-oriented with a strategic focus on sales.
  • Experience in specialty sales, with an understanding of reimbursement, distribution, managed care processes, national/corporate accounts, hospital markets, sites of care, IV medications, injectables, orals, and Medicare Part D.
  • Ability to measure and analyze key performance indicators (ROI and KPIs).
  • Familiarity with CRM software and a proven track record of use.
  • Ability to actively engage in developing new business.
  • Proven track record of resilience in the face of challenges.
  • Expertise in conducting high-stakes conversations with customers when opinions vary.

Travel

Must be willing to travel over a relatively large geography, including daily and overnight travel up to 50-75%.

Pay

Salary range: $170,200.00 - $215,200.00 annually. Actual compensation is determined by job-related skills, depth of experience, certifications, relevant education or training, and specific work location. Non-Commercial roles are eligible for the annual bonus plan, and Commercial roles are eligible for an incentive compensation plan.
