About the role

This position is responsible for penetrating the market with specific emphasis on driving sales of Drawtex, Vashe, and Urgo Portfolio. By utilizing solution based and concept selling approaches, the successful candidate will promote directly to the hospital/clinic, long-term care and home health marketplace and across the care continuum.

Responsibilities

  • Utilize solution based and concept selling approaches to promote Drawtex, Vashe, and Urgo Portfolio to hospitals and wound centers.
  • Communicate product advantages, features, benefits, clinical value, and innovative solutions to decision-makers within healthcare facilities.
  • Manage all leads and customers within a defined territory, including setting appointments with hospital staff and administrators.
  • Educate customers on the benefits of products and provide product demonstrations and support.
  • Communicate between sales, marketing, and support teams to improve customer experience.
  • Input and maintain data in Salesforce.com.
  • Achieve sales targets through efficient and effective sales cycle and territory management.
  • Maintain sales base while closing new business in both new and existing accounts.
  • Ensure all administrative tasks are completed promptly and accurately, including training modules, expense reports, and sales forecasts.
  • Build relationships with key stakeholders within accounts and develop and execute sales strategies.
  • Utilize available resources effectively and travel within assigned territory up to 50%, providing customer-focused service and effectively supporting business goals.
  • Implement and maintain the effectiveness of the Quality System.
  • Present material to Executive-level management.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree in health science or marketing/business preferred, with 2+ years of relevant sales experience.
  • Proven track record of leadership, execution, and sales results.
  • Excellent communication skills (verbal and written), presentation skills, and ability to quickly learn new information.
  • Ability to form and develop interpersonal, professional relationships and display socially and professionally appropriate behavior.
  • Ability to work independently and as a team member, demonstrating initiative and problem-solving skills, analytical and critical-thinking abilities.
  • Ability and aptitude to use various types of databases and computer software, prioritizing tasks, and managing time effectively.
  • Demonstrated understanding and application of all Urgo Advanced Medical North America products.
  • Ability to operate audiovisual equipment such as laptop and iPad-based presentations, digital projection equipment, etc.

Qualifications

  • Preferably with a health science or marketing/business major.
  • Strong communication skills (verbal and written), presentation skills, and excellent sales skills.
  • Ability to clearly, concisely, and accurately convey communications.
  • Physical demands: Position generally requires sitting 50% of the time and 50% standing/walking, occasionally lifting and carrying equipment/materials weighing 10-20 pounds.
  • Mental effort and verbal skills required to effectively communicate and relate potential problems or opportunities to appropriate personnel or customers.
  • Requires ability to demonstrate full understanding and application of all Urgo Advanced Medical North America products.
  • Audible/Visual Demands: Requires ability to hear and speak, or equivalent communication ability for effectively conversing with co-workers, managers, customers, etc. in person and via telephone or video conference.

Pay

$80,000 - $100,000 annually, commission eligible

Schedule

Up to 50% domestic travel and travel within assigned territory, with 20% domestic travel expected.
