Opportunity

The Account Manager manages a book of insurance business, providing professional, courteous service to clients, carriers, underwriters, business partners, and HUB colleagues. They manage client relationships, renewals, and advocate for clients.

Duties & Responsibilities

  • Service day-to-day client needs including answering calls, emails, and handling coverage questions, policy changes, payments, cancellations, etc.
  • Manage the renewal process, including obtaining updated information, marketing, terms and pricing negotiation, quote review, presentation to the client, and invoicing.
  • Manage client relationships to ensure satisfaction.
  • Delegate tasks to Assistant Account Managers as needed.
  • Negotiate coverage with underwriters.
  • Ensure the completion and accuracy of proposals, binding of coverage, and review of policies for accuracy.
  • Create client policy summaries and binders.
  • Set up and maintain electronic records.
  • Follow best practices and broker standards for service and maintenance of client files and information.
  • Collaborate with team members to share and educate on coverage, exposures, and client knowledge.

Qualifications

  • P & C Insurance Producer License
  • Two or more years of insurance brokerage or property casualty insurance experience in account management role (preferred)
  • Exceptional customer service skills
  • Strong reading comprehension and analysis skills
  • Strong data entry skills
  • Strong written and oral communication skills
  • Strong organization and follow-up skills
  • Proficient in Word, Excel, Outlook, and internet utilization
  • Applied EPIC Agency Management System experience (preferred but not required)
