Opportunity
The Personal Lines Account Manager supports clients, manages their insurance portfolio, and maintains positive relationships with internal and external teams.
Duties & Responsibilities
- Works closely with producers and other HUB personnel on client service, marketing, and renewal
- Provides professional, courteous service to clients, carriers, and HUB colleagues
- Prepares and implements transactions, paperwork, and internal processing for assigned accounts
- Acquires understanding of clients' insurance objectives and critically analyzes insurance plans
- Stays informed about industry changes and makes appropriate recommendations to clients
- Attends industry-related training and courses
- Acts as a liaison between clients and insurance carriers to resolve service issues
- Negotiates with underwriters and carriers
- Troubleshoots claims and billing issues
- Identifies and pursues opportunities for cross-selling and upselling other HUB products and services
- Maintains accurate and organized account files
- Documents conversations with clients and carrier representatives
- Updates HUB computer systems and automated agency management systems
- Prepares reports, proposals, and comparisons for management
- Manages and organizes client meetings
- Performs other duties as assigned
Qualifications
- High School Diploma/GED (College degree preferred)
- 1-3 years in an insurance Account Management role (or equivalent combination of education and experience)
- Currently licensed in good standing in required lines and states

Working Conditions & Physical Demands
- Primarily stationary position for the majority of the workday
- Frequent communication with colleagues and clients
- Occasional movement about the office
- Constantly operates computers and office machinery
