Account Manager, Personal Lines

Opportunity
The Personal Lines Account Manager supports clients, manages a book of insurance business, and maintains positive relationships with sales and account team colleagues.
Duties & Responsibilities
- Works closely with Producers and other HUB personnel on client service, marketing, and renewal
- Provides professional, courteous service to clients, carriers, underwriters, business partners, and HUB colleagues
- Prepares and implements all transactions, paperwork, and internal processing for assigned accounts
- Acquires understanding of clients' insurance objectives and critically analyzes insurance plans
- Makes appropriate recommendations to clients based on industry changes
- Attends industry-related continuing education training and courses
- Acts as liaison between clients and insurance carriers to resolve service issues
- Troubleshoots claims and billing issues
- Identifies opportunities for cross-sell and up-sell of other HUB products and services
- Maintains accurate and organized account files
- Prepares reports, proposals, and comparisons for management
- Manages, organizes, and conducts client meetings
Qualifications
- High School Diploma/GED (college degree preferred)
- 1-3 years in an insurance Account Management role (brokage experience preferred) or equivalent combination of education & experience
- Currently licensed in good standing in required lines and states

- Computer skills: proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite, Outlook, and agency management systems
Working Conditions & Physical Demands
- Primarily stationary position
- Frequent communication with colleagues and clients
- Constantly operates a computer and other office productivity machinery
