Responsibilities
- Works alongside and cooperatively with Producers, if assigned on accounts, serving as the HUB’s primary contact to the client.
- Serves as the primary point of contact for clients, carriers, underwriters, business partners, and HUB colleagues, ensuring account retention meets or exceeds expectations.
- Manages account rounding and develops new business as appropriate, contributing to departmental production goals.
- Identifies and pursues cross-selling opportunities and prepares annual review reports and client meetings to review and improve the insurance program.
- Maintains accurate and organized account files, updating HUB computer systems and automated agency management systems, ensuring data accuracy.
- Oversees functions performed by less experienced Account Managers and Client Support Specialists as needed.
- Continuously learns about the insurance industry and makes appropriate recommendations to clients based on identified changes.
- Attends industry-related continuing education training and courses.
- Performs other duties and projects as assigned.
Qualifications
- High School Diploma / GED; College degree preferred
- 1-3 years in an insurance Account Management role (brokage experience preferred) or equivalent combination of education & experience
- Currently licensed in good standing in required lines and states
- HNW, E&S, Agency Bill, broad marketing/carrier knowledge and experience required
